Mini shortbread biscuits made in France by Goulibeur.
Goulibeur butter biscuits have been hand baked in the west of France for over 40 years. Made to a traditional recipe with only butter, sugar, flour, fresh eggs and sea salt… and a lot of love.
Goulibeur is a “Living Heritage” sustainable producer, all the biscuits are completely additive free and all the ingredients fully traceable .
The flour is made from heritage wheat harvested in and milled by an artisan miller in Poitou.
The butter is made from 100% Breton milk, by a Breton dairy which uses the technique of reducing the water content which helps to naturally preserve the biscuits without the use of additives.
The fresh eggs come from hens raised in the open air in Vendée.
The sugar is refined in the plains of the north of France and the salt is harvested on the island of Ré and in the salt works of the south.
